For those interested or working on the Ubuntu driven approach to Tackling Health Inequalities, this is an induction.

By the end of the Induction, through use of the guide and the accompanying DVD on health inequalities, you will have an understanding of:

  •  The work of the Tutu Foundation UK and our flagship programmeConversations for Change.
  •  What we mean by ‘ubuntu’, ‘equality’,  ‘personalisation’ and ‘diversity’.
  •  The new Equality Act 2010 & how you can help us to protect everyone’s human rights.
  •  Your responsibility for supporting Conversations for Change, in your locality to help address health inequalities, support inclusion and build stronger local partnerships.
  • An awareness of how you can promote, or support the use of restorative practice to help the NHS in cases where things have gone wrong.
